What is the plot of Am I Actually the Strongest?

The story centers on a Japanese middle school student named Haruto, who was bullied in school so repeatedly he decides to stay at home and not go outdoors. Due to this unhealthy lifestyle, he dies. Luckily, a goddess appears before him and reveals that he has been chosen for the chance to be reincarnated into a sword-and-sorcery world.

In order for Haruto to be able to live a peaceful life, the goddess decides to grant him a power of 1002. When Haruto is reborn as a baby into a royal family, things are looking up until they test his magical ability. Due to the fact the magic orb, which tests a person’s magical power, can only go up to two digits they read his magical power as being “02”.

The King and Queen frantically decide that they must lie and say their child was born stillborn. The King orders that Prince Lionheart (Haruto) be taken into the middle of the forest so that monsters will kill him.

Using his barrier power in unique ways, he’s able to overpower the wolf, who decides to pledge her loyalty to Haruto. Misunderstanding things due to Haruto’s incredible power, the wolf, Freyma, believes Haruto is the reincarnation of the Demon Lord. When Haruto starts to feel faint from hunger, he requests breast milk. Freyma is eager to help and swiftly transforms into her human form.
