Due in part to the warped mind of its creator Hajime Isayama, Attack on Titan is one of the darkest anime series out there. The story of the Scout Regiment offers anime lovers an astounding amount of blood, guts, and nihilism. With the anime adaptation of the series slated to finish in 2023, it’s not surprising to learn that an Attack on Titan x LifeAfter crossover is coming to North American fans, with the Survey Corps and their grim subject matter joining up to battle a horde of terrifying zombies.
The Attack on Titan x LifeAfter collaboration
On its social media channels, LifeAfter, an MMO zombie survival game developed by Hong Kong NetEase Interactive, revealed that its Attack on Titan partnership would soon be made available on its North American servers. The Attack on Titan anime character costumes of Eren Yeager, Mikasa Ackerman, Levi, and Historia Reiss will all be included in the crossover event, which begins on September 15, 2022.
Limited edition skins for drones, weapons, and vehicles will also be made available by LifeAfter. Also included will be manor decorations, such as Attack on Titan-themed figurines, tables, chairs, carpets, paintings, and other furnishings. The business made the collaboration available on its Japanese servers a year ago.
Attack on Titan in-game events are planned for LifeAfter players
Outside Hope 101’s borders, players will witness titans’ figures moving about. Camps will be attacked by the Armored Titan, one of the iconic titans from the series. Campmates must cooperate to protect their base and drive away the Armored Titan and its horde of zombies.
The apocalypse survival adventure MMO game LifeAfter is dubbed LifeAfter: Night falls in Europe. The Day After Tomorrow, a NetEase production that had substantial economic success when it was launched in China in November 2018 under that name, was made available in English globally in February 2019.
The game, which has a Mature 17+ rating, includes challenging survival scenarios where players must gather supplies, locate a camp, establish a base, and survive the zombie apocalypse. PvE and PVP are essential gameplay elements in settings like Nancy or Farstar City. The game is available for Windows, iOS, and Android devices.
On the other hand, Hajime Isayama’s eponymous manga, Attack on Titan, inspired this dark fantasy anime series. One of the most popular manga series of all time, it was serialized in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shounen Magazine from October 2009 to April 2021 and has so far sold over 100 million copies globally. The manga has been adapted into anime, video games, live-action films, and other media formats.
