Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Episode 6 (Bleach 372) releases screenshots teasing Genryusai VS Yhwach

The Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Episode 6 release date is on November 13, 2022.

On November 10, 2022, the official Twitter account for the anime adaptation of Tite Kubo’s Bleach manga titled Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War released 6 screenshots teasing the events that will occur in Bleach Episode 372 titled “The Fire”.

A special preview trailer, narrated by the character Genryusai Shigekuni Yamamoto and voiced by Binbin Takaoka has also been released and can be watched here:

The video is of a short poem by Genryusai, which states, “The heat burns…even though the rain falls.”

What is the plot of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Episode 6?

Episode 6 will begin with learning what became of Byakuya Kuchiki. Did he die? If so, can he still be saved by Orihime?

Genryusai Shigekuni Yamamoto and Yhwach are facing each other once more after a thousand years. When Yhwach’s Sternritter subordinates notice that their boss is fighting Genryusai alone they decide to intervene.

As Nodt, Bazz-B, and NaNaNa Najahkoop attack Genryusai simultaneously, but he easily defeats them with one stroke of his sword. When Yhwach remains unfazed and even contemptuous of his subordinate’s foolishness, Gen remarks Yhwach hasn’t changed. Apparently, Yhwach has always considered his followers to be expendable.

Genryusai’s spiritual pressure is resonating throughout Soul Society and motivates the Shinigami Captains and Vice Captains. Genryusai eggs Yhwach on until he finally draws his sword. Genryusai has been waiting for the moment he can destroy Yhwach and his sword, and uses his bankai: Zanka no Tachi (Blade of Ember). A sword of hell-fire. But the sword is different from what Yhwach remembers…

Meanwhile, Captain Unohana notices that all of the moisture has been sucked out of the air in Seireitei and knows it’s because of Genryusai’s bankai. Unohana thinks, “I hope you finish this quickly before your power itself destroys the Soul Society.”

What is the plot of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War?

Things were peaceful in Ichigo’s hometown of Karakura until a group of new, mysterious Soul Reapers and a new enemy appeared. Ichigo is ready to grab his Zanpakto and jump in to protect his friends and allies from this new threat. Meanwhile, strange things are occurring in Soul Society from the mysterious disappearances of the residents in the Rukon district to the surge in the number of Hollows being destroyed in the World of the Living. When Soul Society comes under attack by a group calling themselves Wandenreich, it’s up to Ichigo to turn the tide of the bloody battle that ensues.

But who is this new enemy lurking in the shadows? Yhwach, the founder of all Quincies, decides to declare war against the Soul Society and gives them the following message, “Five days from now, the Soul Society will be annihilated by the Wandenreich.”

The dark history and truth that Soul Society has been trying to keep secret finally come to light and they must atone for their past.
