For those who don’t know, the Demon Slayer fandom has grown tremendously over the past two years, and many fans are completely fascinated with the anime’s characters. Although the Demon Slayer franchise is now preoccupied with the upcoming Season 3, other things are also unraveling.

The studio animating the Demon Slayer anime has released an exclusive illustration in honor of Otsukimi (also known as Tsukimi or Jugoya), the Japanese variant of the Mid-Autumn Festival honoring the autumn moon.

Otsukimi traditionally takes place mid-September. The festival honors the Moon, as suggested by its name (tsuki means “Moon” in Japanese).

The show just finished its second season, largely devoted to an adaptation of the manga’s acclaimed Entertainment District storyline.
