New information related to Demon Slayer Season 3, or Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc (Kimetsu no Yaiba: Katanakaji Sato-hen), is very likely to be revealed at the Machi Asobi special event for the franchise that will take place in Japan on October 15, 2022.
On October 7, 2022, the official website and Twitter account for the anime adaptation of Koyoharu Gotouge’s Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba adventure, dark fantasy manga announced that “anime-related announcements will take place on stage.”
Voice actors appearing at the event are: Natsuki Hanae, who plays Tanjiro Kamado, Katsuyuki Konishi who plays Tengen Uzui, and producer Yuma Takahashi, who will act as the moderator.

What is the plot of Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc?
The story will adapt the events which occur in the “Swordsmith Village Arc”, which runs from chapters 100 to 127 of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga.
When the Demon Slayer Corps’ swordsmith, Hotaru Haganezuka, declares that he’s become tired of fixing Tanjiro Kamado’s sword the young demon slayer is forced to travel to the famous Swordsmith Village in order to replace his sword. The trailer also teased that the Swordsmith Village will be the location of Tanjiro’s new “mission”, which hints that demons will definitely make an appearance in the village.

In February 2016, Koyoharu Gotouge launched Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine and it ended in May 2020. In December 2020, the manga’s 23rd and final tankbon volume was published by Shueisha. The manga’s English version has been licensed by Viz Media for release in North America.
