Demon Slayer‘s enormous popularity has earned it a spot as one of the most well-known and renowned anime titles. Stellar animation sequences combined with profound themes of love, hope, and sorrow presented through endearing characters to which fans can’t help but become attached only serve to enhance the source material.
When a new season of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba airs, anime fans can’t help talking about it. The series has shattered hundreds of milestones in just two seasons, so everyone’s attention is focused on season three, which will be released soon. Upper Moon fans won’t want to miss the tribute to one of the show’s following antagonists, highlighted by the studio behind Demon Slayer.

The art comes from the u/KnYchan2 Reddit account. As seen below, the show’s Upper Moon looks appropriately menacing and stunning. The account posted the sensational rendition of the stunning Upper Moon 2 in anticipation of the Swordsmith Village arc.
In the sketch, Doma is brought to life in a snowy night sky, and the darkness further adds to his deadly aesthetic. Doma’s hands are scarlet, and blood is coating his lips and robes as usual. The appearance is unsettling, but it matches the Upper Moon perfectly. As you may recall, Demon Slayer season two finished with a teaser starring Doma, conveying exactly how dangerous the demon could be.
When Muzan summoned the Upper Ranks in the aftermath of Gyutaro’s death, he was enraged that none of them had defeated the Demon Slayer Corps or found the Blue Spider Lily. While Doma vowed to tear his eye out in retaliation for recruiting Gyutaro, he also acknowledged that he never located the Blue Spider Lily or Ubuyashiki since he’s not a competent detective. Doma, the world’s third most powerful demon after Muzan and Kokushibo, couldn’t even get through the first assembly of the Upper Ranks in 113 years without aggravating Akaza into punching off sections of Doma’s skull — twice.
Demon Slayer season 3 story synopsis
Ufotable will adapt the manga’s “Swordsmith Village” storyline for Demon Slayer Season 3. However, as with every Demon Slayer arc, demons are never far away.
Tanjiro’s Nichirin sword, the only helpful weapon against demons, requires extensive repairs after defeating Daki and Gyutaro (Upper Moon 6) in Season 2. As a result, he journeys to the Swordsmith Village, searching for Hotaru Haganezuka. He is the swordsmith who has created all of Tanjiro’s swords.
Of course, Demon Slayer fans will see more of Doma soon. The villain will play a role in Season 3, but he won’t be the only Upper Moon lurking around. The anime is returning with a crucial gathering of Muzan’s top demons. As Upper-Rank Two, Doma will accompany the Upper Moon to persuade him of Gyutaro’s defeat.
