The first Demon Slayer Season 3 trailer release date is confirmed for December 10, 2022.
On October 14, 2022, the official website and Twitter account for the anime adaptation of Koyoharu Gotouge’s Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba adventure, dark fantasy manga announced multiple items during the end of the Machi Asobi event.
The special program was attended by Producer Yuma Takahashi and voice actors Natsuki Hanae (Tanjiro Kamado) and Katsuyuki Konishi (Tengen Uzui). The first part involved the actors discussing the Entertainment District Arc before moving on to announcing what’s next for the TV series.
On December 10, 2022, a special uncut edition of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -Mugen Train- will be broadcast in Japan on Fuji TV at 6:30 PM JST (5:30 AM EST). Following this broadcast, the Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc (Kimetsu no Yaiba: Katanakaji Sato-hen) trailer will be released at roughly 8:27 PM JST (7:27 AM EST).
The official website promises that the new Kimetsu no Yaiba: Katanakaji Sato-hen trailer will reveal new information about the third season. Perhaps it will finally announce the time frame for the Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village release date?
Demon Slayer: Mugen Train OST release date announced
The Demon Slayer Machi Asobi event included other announcements. The Mugen Train will actually be traveling around Japan.
On December 14, 2022, the soundtrack for Mugen Train will be released. The soundtrack will include 50 tracks, including 47 by Yuki Kajiura and Go Shiina. The Mugen Train soundtrack will also include the theme song “Homura”, the opening theme song from the TV version “Akeboshi”, and the ending theme song “Shirogane” from the TV version. You will be able to purchase the soundtrack here.
Additionally, an orchestral concert edition of the Mugen Train soundtrack will be released on January 25, 2023. This is a live album containing songs from the performance held at Pacifico Yokohama on September 4th and 5th, 2021.

What is the plot of Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc?
The story of Demon Slayer Season 3 will adapt the events which occur in the “Swordsmith Village Arc”, which runs from chapters 100 to 127 of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga.
When the Demon Slayer Corps’ swordsmith, Hotaru Haganezuka, declares that he’s become tired of fixing Tanjiro Kamado’s sword he’s forced to travel to the famous Swordsmith Village in order to replace his sword. The Swordsmith Village will be the location of Tanjiro’s new “mission”, which hints that upper moon demons, Hatengu and Gyoko, will definitely make an appearance in the village. Teaming up with Tanjiro in his demon-slaying mission will be the Mist Hashira and Love Hashira.

Where can I watch the anime and read the manga?
In April 2019, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’s first anime adaptation premiered. The anime was licensed by Aniplex of America and streamed on Hulu, Crunchyroll, and Funimation. In October 2019, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba premiered on Adult Swim’s Toonami programming block.
In October 2020, the anime film Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Mugen Train was screened in Japan and topped the box office for 12 consecutive weeks. Mugen Train became the first film in Japan to pass the 40 billion yen milestone and was the highest-earning film worldwide for 2020. Mugen Train is the first non-Hollywood and non-American film to top the yearly box office worldwide since the beginning of the film industry over a century ago. In October 2021, a seven-episode arc that adapted the events, which occurred in the film Mugen Train, premiered in Japan. On December 5, the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc (Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yuukaku-hen) anime premiere with a one-hour special. Kimetsu no Yaiba Enteratinment District Arc is currently available for streaming on Funimation and Crunchyroll.
In February 2016, Koyoharu Gotouge launched Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine and it ended in May 2020. In December 2020, the manga’s 23rd and final tankbon volume was published by Shueisha. The manga’s English version has been licensed by Viz Media for release in North America.
