On September 30, 2022, the official website for Dropkick on My Devil! anime announced that it would launch a new crowdfunding campaign to help fund future OVA episodes.

The goal would be to crowdfund up to 12 episodes, which would be the 4th season of the anime.

The production cost to make one cour (12 episodes) is apparently around 300 million yen (approximately 2.072 million USD). Dropkick on My Devil!’s staff doesn’t currently have the power to raise that kind of capital, which is why they decided to launch the crowdfunding campaign for new OVA episodes.

The Dropkick on My Devil! crowdfunding goal will be 30 million yen (approximately 207,200 USD). For every 30 million raised they will add an additional OVA episode.

The Dropkick on My Devil! staff also plan to screen the episodes at fan events and the episodes will also be made available for streaming.

If enough capital is raised to produce 12 episodes they will be compiled and broadcast as the anime’s official 4th season on TV.

If you’re lucky enough to live in Japan along with the crowdfunding campaign there will be a special event for fans called “Jashin-chan Festival”, which will have screenings, corporate/local government/individual booth exhibitions, doujinshi (fan-made comic) sales and cosplay events. More information on this event will be forthcoming at their official website here.
