On October 17, 2022, a very interesting collaboration between FromSoftware’s action RPG Elden Ring and Grammy Award-winning alto saxophone player Kenny Garrett and jazz trumpeter Takuya Kuroda was announced by Bandai Namco Entertainment America.

Bandai Namco Entertainment America will be hosting a jazz music-streaming event on December 3, 2022, which will feature Garrett and Kuroda elucidating the game’s haunting and adventurous original soundtrack into jazz music. Expect Garrett and Kuroda to have some improv moments as they let the music inspire them!

On December 3, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m Pacific Time two “Elden Ring: A Night in the Lands Between” shows will be broadcast live from Hollywood’s Bourbon Room. If you’re lucky enough to live in California you can purchase tickets to the physical event through the event website here.

VIP packages include collective Elden Ring-themed items, the game’s digital soundtrack, and access to the post-show VOD. Tickets to the live-stream event will also be available through the event website here.

What is the plot of Elden Ring The Road to Erdtree?

The story centers on a young man named Aseo, who gets a streak of bad luck and ends up cast out of his home village of Limgrave – naked, penniless, hopeless, and maidenless. Due to being a “Tarnished wretch” his only hope in this unforgiving new sword and sorcery world is a mysterious woman named Melina, who offers to help him. Melina advises Aseo that he should follow the Guidance of Grace to the Erdtree, which is located in the Lands Between.

Aseo sets out on a quest to find the Erdtree, but the road isn’t easy, and he encounters many strange individuals along the way that either help or hinder his progress: Patches the Untethered, Blaidd the Half-Wolf, Margrit the Fell Omen, Godtrick the Grafted, and Ranni the Witch.

Wearing nothing but a loincloth, Aseo boldly strikes out for the first stop on his quest: Stormveil Castle. Will Aseo make it to Stormveil Castle, or will his quest end before it even begins? Maybe he should have stopped somewhere to find a pair of pants first.

Where can I play the game Elden Ring?

Elden Ring is a 2022 action RPG game developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Hidetaka Miyazaki (Dark Souls) directed the game with worldbuilding provided by the fantasy writer George R.R. Martin (Game of Thrones)! On February 25, 2022, it was released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S via Steam.

In Elden Ring players create a character and go on a journey to repair the Elden Ring in order to become the new Elden Lord. Players can freely roam the interactive open world. Players will be able to wield different types of weapons, use magic, ride a horse and learn crafting.

In March 2022, the game surpassed 12 million units in sales worldwide and overtook Call of Duty: Vanguard as the best-selling game in the U.S.

If you’d like to get a more in-depth look into the world of Elden Ring, Yen Press released a primer that explores the dark fantasy world titled The Overture of Elden Ring.
