The upcoming detective anime Fuuto PI will have two theme songs – the fruit of two different collaborations with famous Jrock artists. The main theme titled Tsumi to Bats to Angura (Sin, Punishment and Underground) is a collaboration between Koji Kikkawa and Mitsuru Matsuoka.
Koji Kikkawa played the role of Kamen Rider Skull (Sokichi Narumi), and was nicknamed “Oyasan” in Kamen Rider W. Koji Kikkawa will serve as the music producer of the song, along with being in charge of its composition, playing the guitar and providing the chorus.
Mitsuru Matsuoka, who played the role of Katsumi Daido/Kamen Rider Eternal in the movie Kamen Rider W FOREVER AtoZ/ Gaia Memory of Fate, will write the lyrics and sing the song. It is important to note that these men are not only voice actors, but also have great musical talent.
Matsuoka wrote the lyrics for a song and I worked on its composition. Matsuoka will also sing the song. It has an adult appeal and I think people will want to dance while listening to it. Everyone in the studio enjoyed listening to it. Kamen Rider is immortal!Koji Kikkawa commented on Mitsuru Matsuoka’s official website
The song Sin, Punishment and Underground is packed with love for the upcoming anime Fuuto PI and with love for Kamen Rider W. I hope it will make a big impression on the fans of Kamen Rider W and Fuuto PI. Please enjoy my new song Sin, Punishment and Underground.Matsuoka commented on his official website.
The Jrock duo Aya Kamiki and TAKUYA (together they are known as Big Gadgets) will be returning to the Kamen Rider franchise in order to sing its opening theme. In the Kamen Rider W TV anime series they performed the opening theme titled W-B-X (W-Boiled Extreme). Now, they will perform the new opening theme song for Fuuto PI titled Private Eye.

Will Shotaro and Philip be able to solve the mystery behind Tokime?
The story of Fuuto PI takes place after the events in Kamen Rider W Returns: Kamen Rider Accel, and revolves around two private detectives that work at Narumi Detective Agency. Shotaro Hidari teams up with Raito “Philip” Sonozaki, who is the sole survivor of the Sonozaki family – its descendants have the ability to access the Gaia Library.
Shotaro and Raito are able to merge together into a superhero known as Kamen Rider W whose mission is to protect the city of Fuuto from monsters called “Dopants” that were created by Gaia Memories. Their boss, Akiko Terui, often joins them in their investigations as they solve cases, along with her husband Ryu, who is a member of the police force and secretly Kamen Rider Accel.
When Shotaro encounters a beautiful young woman with pink hair, who is being targeted by Dopants, he immediately does his best to save her. Afterward, he discovers that she’s lost her memories and only remembers her name “Tokime”. Shotaro decides to help her out by giving her a job at their agency as their assistant. As Shotaro and Philip solve more cases, however, they begin to see that Tokime has a strange connection to one of the mysterious monsters that are known as the Aurora Dopant.
Fans are so excited for the upcoming anime Fuuto PI that they even made a fake trailer. It’s so well-made that at first fans thought it was truly a second trailer promoting the series! But it has the wrong opening song. Perhaps, it has leaked video clips, however. What do you all think? You can watch the fake (leaked?) trailer here:
