It’s official! The light novel for I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too (Isekai de Cheat Skill wo Te ni Shita Ore wa, Genjitsu Sekai wo mo Musou suru: Level Up wa Jinsei wo Kaeta) will be getting a TV anime adaptation. This news was revealed alongside a teaser trailer and a couple of visuals to confirm the upcoming anime. 

Though the TV anime has been confirmed, the time frame for the I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too release date hasn’t been announced yet. The main staff and cast have not been disclosed but will be announced in due time.

The teaser trailer for the upcoming I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in the Real World, Too anime was posted on the Kadokawa anime YouTube channel, much to the excitement of fans of the light novel and manga. The teaser leaves out information on a release date but gives a glimpse of the characters.

I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too began as a light novel in 2018 and was written by Miku and illustrated by Rein Kuwashima. The fantasy isekai was initially published online but is presently serialized in Fujimi Fantasia Bunko. The light novel inspired a manga adaptation illustrated by Minatogawa, which began publication in 2019. Both the light novel and manga are licensed by Yen Press.

The plot is as follows: 

A Chance to Come Back! A mysterious door stands open, inviting a boy who’s been brutally bullied all his life to take a courageous step forward into the unknown. On the other side, he finds a hoard of priceless artifacts and a world as filled with magic as it is with monsters. The most shocking revelation is that he can bring whatever he wants back with him when he returns to Earth. It won’t be long before this double life changes him forever.
