On September 25, 2022, the official Twitter account for the anime adaptation of Shobonnu (story) and Sogawa’s (illustrations) I’ve Somehow Gotten Stronger When I Improved my Farm-Related Skills (Noumin Kanren no Sukiru Bakka Agetetara Nazeka Tsuyoku Natta) light novel series released the opening video, which features the opening theme song “Growing Up” performed by 7ORDER.
The ending theme song is titled “Rolling Soul Happy Days” performed by Pop Shinanaide.

What is the 7ORDER Project?
7ORDER is a Japanese seven-member boy group that launched on May 22, 2019 as part of the members’ “7ORDER project”, which includes their individual musical activities. The group specializes in performing Jpop songs.
In 2016, the group was originally formed as a seven-member male idol group within Johnny’s Jr Office and they were called Love-tune. Between November 2018 and March 2019, all of the members of Love-tune left Johnny’s Office.
On January 13, 2021, 7ORDER made its major debut under the record label NIPPON COLUMBIA. Each member has a color that corresponds with them: Yasui Kentaro (Pink), Sanada Yuma (Red), Moroshoshi Shoki (Orange), Morita Myuto (Yellow), Hagiya Keigo (Green), Abe Aran (Purple), and Nagatsuma Reo (Blue).
What is the plot of I’ve Somehow Gotten Stronger When I Improved my Farm-Related Skills?
The story centers on a 17-year-old man named Al Wayne, who decided to max out his farm-related skills in order to live a peaceful life as “King of the Farmers” in the village of Sils. However, on the day he finally accomplishes that his life takes a completely different direction from farming when his skills combine and evolve into “Nature Lover”. With his status increased 1000-fold he suddenly has super-human strength.
One day, while on his way to deliver vegetables to the Royal Capital he encounters a young woman, who is being kidnapped. He is easily able to overpower her captor and save her. Little did he know, but the woman he saved was actually the first princess of the Royal Tower of Meigis – Fal-Ys Meigis. She immediately notices Al’s talent and tries to recruit him by offering a large plot of land to be able to farm.
Al refuses her generous offer and flees the city. He later ends up encountering some demons in the forest and overhears their plot against the Royal Capital. Deciding that if the Royal Capital were destroyed then the demand for his vegetables would suddenly decrease Al decides to step up and help protect the citizens from Romeo – the Demon Lord’s 1st unit army commander and his nefarious plot.
A farmer would normally be living a very lonely life, but in a strange twist of fate three unique girls enter his life and start to turn it upside down. But maybe that’s a good thing.

Where can I read the light novel series and manga adaptation?
I’ve Somehow Gotten Stronger When I Improved my Farm-Related Skills is a Japanese light novel series written by Shobonnu and illustrated by Sogawa. Between August 2016 and May 2018, the series was serialized online on the user-generated novel publishing website Shousetsuka ni Narou (Let’s Be Novelists!). From March 2017 to November 2018, five volumes were published by Futabasha under their Monster Bunko imprint.
Since April 2018, a manga adaptation with art by Aki Taruto has been serialized via Futabasha’s digital publication Web Comic Action, and its chapters have been collected into eight tankobon volumes as of February 2022. The story boasts 800,000 copies in circulation.
