On August 29, 2022, the staff for Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun Season 3 (Mairimashita! Iruma-kun Season 3) revealed three new cast additions for the upcoming TV show, which is set to premiere on October 8, 2022!

Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun Season 3 will begin with the End of Final Days Arc (End of Terminus Days Arc/End of Summer Vacation Arc). Then the Special Tutor Training Arc begins. Due to the fact that everyone in the Misfit Class (Iruma and his classmates) has to meet the requirement of having a Demon Ranking of 4 to stay in the Royal One classroom, they must get stronger.

In order to accomplish this each of them is assigned to a special group of staff from Babyls that will help nurture their abilities so they can get ready for the opportunity to raise their rank during the school’s Harvest Festival. Iruma discovers he has a talent for archery, which is something most demons don’t have the patience for. Meanwhile, Azz-kun trains in how to bring out his “Evil Cycle” to become more powerful.

Three of these special tutors have been cast: General Furfur, Lady Vepar, and Mister Hat.

Who is General Furfur?

Voice actor Kisho Taniyama will play General Furfur, who is one of the prestigious professors at Babyls Academy (a demon world high school). Naberius Kalego appoints Furfur to train Allocer Schneider and Andro Jazz to improve their abilities before their second year at Babyls and in order to be ready for the upcoming Harvest Festival.

When Allocer and Jazz first start their training with General Furfur they admire him and expected to have fun under his tutelage. However, it wasn’t long before Furfur showed his true colors by forcing them to work at a sketchy bar to help pay off his debts and he even cheated them out of their money. Allocer and Jazz start to hate and fear Furfur, but they do end up gaining some street smarts in the process.

I wanted to portray General Furfur as an elusive guy, who is hard to grasp, and whose thoughts are hard to read. I hope I was able to convey General Furfur’s large range of emotions and his mercurial personality.

Who is Lady Vepar?

Voice actress Mariko Kouda will play Lady Vepar, who is one of the prestigious professors at Babyls Academy. Her appearance was heavily inspired by a kappa yokai (demon) from Japanese folklore, which is known for haunting lakes at night and has the tendency to drown people.

Lady Vepar has a very timid personality and appears to be a crybaby, but she tends to surprise people when she displays her powerful, water-manipulation abilities. After Lady Vepar attacks people and blasts them away she swiftly apologizes even if it was on purpose. Lady Vepar is assigned to train Garp Goemon and Agares Picero in their abilities.

Lady Vepar is a scaredy-cat, who is always crying, but she tries her best. Her powerful water attacks surprise Garp and Agares, and their training becomes quite Spartan. It’s very interesting. I hope to bring out Lady Vepar’s charm.

Voice actor Masami Iwasaki will play Mr. Hat, who is one of the prestigious professors at Babyls Academy. Mr. Hat is assigned to train Crocell Kerori and Caim Kamui in their abilities. He is known for being a first-class summoner and has the nickname “gentleman trainer”. Since Caim aspires to be a well-liked gentleman that makes ladies’ hearts swoon this appears to be a match made in heaven. At one point, Mr. Hat locks Crocell in a cage with a bunch of animals until she is able to use her charm ability to win them over.

Mr. Hat is going to train Crocell and Caim to be very strong and powerful summoners while enjoying a cup of tea in an elegant manner. Let’s see if they become first-class summoners!
