Mashle: Magic and Muscles is getting ready to release its first anime adaptation, and an early drawing of Easton Magic Academy has provided a brief look behind the production scenes!
Each new chapter of the original manga series by Hajime Komoto appears in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine as it progresses in its final arc. Yet, the overall franchise is still far from over since the franchise will continue with the entire anime adaptation premiering sometime in the following year, even though the manga may be preparing for the Mashle manga’s ending.
The new Magic Academy sketch
The Mashle: Magic and Muscles anime release date is in 2023. While nothing is known about the studio and main staff working on the new anime project (apart from the fact that Aniplex of America has licensed it), the series production is moving forward according to schedule.
A first look at the environment drawing for Easton Magic Academy, one of the series’ most significant settings overall. It is there that Mash Burndead attends and turns the magical world on its head, which was released by the official Twitter account for the upcoming anime.

There is still plenty of time to become familiar with the original series since there is still no firm release date for the new anime. You can get the most recent chapters of Mashle’s classic manga for nothing at all using Viz Media’s online Shonen Jump library if you want to stay up to date.
Mashle: Manga plot and more
Mashle, which features a human who is arguably stronger than any of the wizards he encounters, essentially flips the Harry Potter story on its head. Mash Burnedead, the protagonist, is a young man without magical abilities who lives in a society where such abilities are prevalent.
Mash enrolls in Easton Magic Academy to appease his grandfather, hoping to blend in and advance through the ranks. Instead of using magic, which he lacks, he does it by using pure physical might and muscle.
Mashle’s story has a lot in common with anime like Black Clover and My Hero Academia, particularly in terms of its school setting and protagonist’s apparent helplessness. Mash resembles Shigeo Kageyama from Mob Psycho 100 and Saitama from One-Punch Man, sharing both characters’ personalities and their sense of bravery. Mash is nearly heartless in his relentless ambition to demonstrate his strength, showing it off casually, similar to Saitama.
