The trailer features clips from the anime’s first two seasons and shows Ritsu’s growth from admiring brother, fearful brother, envious brother, and finally to loving brother. Ritsu’s relationship with his older brother Mob has never been easy from his perspective. Ever since they were kids Ritsu admired Mob’s telekinesis abilities until that admiration turned to envy. When Mob uses his psychic powers to save his brother but accidentally hurts him, Ritsu begins to fear Mob.

Finally, Ritsu starts to hate his brother for his superior abilities and desires to gain psychic powers whatever the cost. When Ritsu does eventually gain psychic powers (with a little help from Ekubo) he discovers it isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Later, when Mob still saves his brother and shows how worried he was, even after Ritsu claimed to hate him, his feelings of hatred towards his brother once again shifted back to love and admiration.

On the other hand, from Mob’s perspective, he always felt guilty about how he accidentally hurt Ritsu while trying to save him with his powers, and vowed to never use his powers against humans as a result. Mob never realized how conflicted his younger brother felt about his lack of psychic powers and that he harbored envy towards Mob until he gained powers of his own. When Mob discovered that Ritsu “hated” him he took things in stride, believing himself to be deserving of that hatred because he hurt him in the past, but still showing his care, love, and worry towards his younger brother in the end.
