On September 21, 2022, the staff for Mob Psycho 100 III released a character trailer focusing on Shigeo “Mob” Kageyama, and highlighting some of the most iconic moments from Mob Psycho 100 Seasons 1 and 2 that center on Mob. The trailer also hypes Mob Psycho 100 III’s imminent premiere on October 5, 2022!

Mob is a second-year student at Salt Middle School, who has super-powerful psychic abilities, but is also troubled by normal adolescent problems such as: how to deal with his crush on the most beautiful girl in his class, Tsubomi, how to do his best at his crazy part-time job exorcizing evil spirits, and how to gain muscles while working out without remaining a beanpole. Theoretically, Reigen is paying him 300 yen (3 dollars) an hour, but it doesn’t appear to be that way.

In the Mob Psycho 100 English dub, Mob is played by voice actor, Kyle McCarley, but there’s a high probability he won’t be turning for the anime’s third season!

On September 20, 2022, he uploaded a video explaining how he probably won’t be returning for the anime’s third season due to the fact he wanted to work under a SAG-AFTRA union contract, but Crunchyroll wouldn’t agree to those terms.

Apparently, other cast members have also been trying to get Crunchyroll to let them work under a union contract, so there may be more than just one new voice in English dubbed version of Mob Psycho 100 III.
