Psycho Helmet is a being that was born from the Divine Tree (which was created in the aftermath of Touichirou Suzuki and Mob’s battle). Dimple decided to merge with the roots of the Divine Tree in order to finally accomplish his original goal of becoming a god of the modern world. This merging spawned the plant-like being Psycho Helmet.

What is the plot of Mob Psycho 100 III?

The story will explore new developments in Mob’s everyday life of going to school and his part-time job as an exorcist. Mob, Aratake Reigen, and the newest member of their team, Katsuya Serizawa, deal with the bizarre requests that come into Spirits and Such Consultations.

For those who need a refresher on who Katsuya Serizawa is – he’s a powerful Esper and was one of the major members of Claw. Because he suffered from anxiety he used to stay in his room and never went outside because his psychic powers would become uncontrollable. This changed when Touchiro went to his room and gave him an umbrella so that he could go outside while still feeling like he was safe “inside”. The umbrella became his main weapon and he was later appointed to be one of the Ultimate 5 Members. After the Claw World Domination Arc he joins up with Mob and Reigen.

Meanwhile, the giant broccoli tree, which was created by Mob’s powers, towers over the city center and has become revered as a “divine tree” by the city’s citizens. The Psycho Helmet cult begins to gain popularity and around this time Ekubo mysteriously disappears. All signs point to something fishy going on within the broccoli tree making Mob head out to investigate.
