The youthful heroes of My Hero Academia from Class 1-A have come a long way in both the manga and anime adaptations of the series, and a special new promo commemorates how much they have matured in all this time!
With Kohei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia manga ending relatively soon and the My Hero Academia Season 6 anime TV show sending the young heroes through enormous battles with the heroes, each of the students has been tested in ways they probably never thought when they first enrolled in the school 1 year ago. At the same time, they have risen to the occasion just as well.
My Hero Academia’s new promo
Volume 36 of My Hero Academia’s English run was recently released, and it covers some of the first critical moments from the final fight between the villains and the heroes. It’s a testament to how much Class 1-A’s roster has taken on since it all began, and a special new promo for the series emphasizing each of the characters in a fun new way exemplifies that.

If you want to watch more of Class 1-A’s pupils in action, there will be plenty of opportunities to do so outside of the manga as My Hero Academia Season 6 begins with new episodes. The series (together with the first five seasons) is now available on Crunchyroll.
What are the high-end Nomus in My Hero Academia Season 6?
The Nomus are synthetic beings produced by Dr. Kyudai Garaki of the Paranormal Liberation Front. They have superhuman strength and exceptional regenerating abilities, making them ideal weapons of mass destruction. In fact, during the series’ debut appearance, All Might is compelled to unleash his full might – although in a weakened form – to beat a single Nomu. The greatest of the Nomu are now making their debut.
A more resilient threat
Hood is the first High-End Nomu to emerge in the series, and he is the Nomu whom Endeavor narrowly defeated with the assistance of other heroes. More of these High-Ends debuted in My Hero Academia Season 6 Episode 2. When Mirko was going to assault and arrest Dr. Garaki, a Nomu called Mocha came to his aid. Dr. Garaki took advantage of the chance to release the High-End Nomus he had been developing. Mirko challenged them to a fight and even defeated one, but she also lost an arm in the operation, demonstrating the High-End Nomus’ terrifying battle prowess.
High-Tier Nomus are already far stronger than the typical human, and they possess a variety of oddities. High-Ends, on the other hand, outperform this level of power. Furthermore, these Nomus retained a portion of their former selves’ intellect. For this reason, Dr. Garaki chose the corpses of extra-violent villains as the foundations for these High-End Nomus.
Because these were high-quality productions, the entire procedure was frequently lengthier than usual. It takes months to complete the quirks stabilization alone. As a result, mass production proved impossible. As powerful as these Nomus were, they had a drawback with other Nomus: if their brain were destroyed, they would die.
The High-End Nomus are undoubtedly the most powerful weapons in My Hero Academia. After all, these abominations have superhuman power and a variety of peculiarities. Fortunately, they come at a high price. The High-End Nomus require the bodies of the most heinous villains. Because of how long it takes to produce a single one, mass production is likewise nearly impossible. Nonetheless, these efforts are worthwhile because a single one can outperform a top hero.
