What are the pieces in the collection?
The duo EXIT pride themselves on being hardcore One Piece fans and are very excited about this collaboration. The collection will include thirteen types of unisex items such as T-shirts, hoodies, jackets, and baseball caps. The collection will be available via EXIEEE’s online shop.
Based on Wego’s corporate slogan “YOUR FAN”, EXIEEE was born as a brand that everyone regardless of age or gender could feel free and happy just by wearing EXIT. A press conference was held in February 2022 where their first clothing items were unveiled.
If you’re lucky enough to live in Japan you can head on over to ZOZOTOWN, WEGO’s Harajuku Takeshita Street store, Shinsaibashi store, and Fukuoka Parco store.
For those One Piece fans who miss Ace, this T-shirt, which features young Luffy, Sabo, and Ace, the three brothers, is a must-have!
Fans of the character, Gaimon, from One Piece are in luck. You can purchase a baseball cap featuring Gaimon with his signature green Afro in a green or brown color!
What do Rintaro and Daiki think of the collection?
When I got the call from EXIEEE about the opportunity to participate in a fashion collaboration with One Piece, one of my favorite animes, I was happy from the bottom of my heart. I’ve lost many things but this opportunity has given me a new reason to live. I’ve always wanted to design a track jacket and pants with a cool, all-over pattern, so when I learned this dream of mine would come true in the form of a collaboration with One Piece I was very happy. I also love the Shanks-inspired pants. I hope our fans and One Piece fans will like the designs as much as I do.Rintaro commented at Natalie.mu
The above ensembles are inspired by the outfit the pirate Red-haired Shanks is seen wearing in the One Piece Film: Red. Rintaro commented that he especially likes these pants and you can see his enthusiasm in modeling them in the picture above.
Shanks can be seen wearing his iconic flower-print pants here:
This collaboration with One Piece is inspired by the manga’s final arc. I’m very happy with the results. I really like how we incorporated the five pirate marks of East Blue in the items. When I saw the finished products my heart was beating the drums of release. I especially like the T-shirt, which features a skull and a friend’s stamp on the sleeve. Be sure to wear it with your crew!Daiki Kanechika commented at Natalie.mu
Daiki Kanechika’s favorite item in the collection happens to be a T-shirt that was inspired by Soul King, Brook, from One Piece, and is of a skull with a colorful Afro.
If you’ve ever wanted to have Zoro or Luffy’s Wanted Poster on a T-shirt, now you’re chance! Zoro fans can purchase a green T-shirt, which features his original Wanted Poster, and Luffy fans can purchase a red T-shirt, which features his original Wanted Poster.
As the One Piece manga nears its conclusion fans are sad to see such an epic pirate story finally end. This T-shirt embraces the feeling that although the story might be over, One Piece will live on in our hearts forever. The T-shirts, which have the pirate-styled text “To Be Continued” on them, are perfect for those who will continue to carry One Piece with them in their hearts.
