What is the plot of Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence?

Saint Cecilia is happy to share her wisdom with all those who seek it, especially the people in her hometown. When the townspeople come to the church to seek her advise and spiritual guidance they always see her as being elegant and composed. However, as soon as the last person leaves the church Cecilia’s drops the act and shows her true colors.

In reality, Cecilia is a lazy, klutzy girl despite her kind heart. She would rather lounge around sipping tea and eating scones than do any real housework or yard work. Unfortunately, when this happens the only other person around is usually Pastor Lawrence. He can’t understand why Cecilia only acts this way around him (he’s pretty dense). Lawrence does his best to help Cecilia remain put together enough to do her duties. Cecilia can be a real challenge at times, but for some reason, it doesn’t seem to bother Pastor Lawrence all that much.

Cecilia feels comfortable enough to be herself around Pastor Lawrence, but why does she get so happy when he merely compliments her? Why did she blush so hard when Lawrence was forced to carry her when she got drenched in the rain? As for Pastor Lawrence, his feelings for the Saint are complicated. He wants her to be more useful, but at the same time he feels the world is such a dangerous place to let Cecilia roam free without his supervision – she could get burned while cooking or hurt herself while gardening. What is this feeling of protectiveness welling up inside of him? (He’s being overprotective).

Will these two incredibly dense individuals realize they’re actually in love with each other? We’ll have to watch the upcoming anime in order to find out!

This is an incredibly wholesome love story that will have you yelling, “Just kiss already!”. But that’s why among its fans this story is considered a “flufftease” and not a “striptease”.
