What is the plot of Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement?
The story begins when a young Japanese woman named Kouha Mitsuha falls off a cliff – instead of dying she’s transported to a medieval European fantasy world! Right away, things get hairy when wolves are suddenly chasing her. Just when she thinks she’s really going to die she’s transported back to Earth. That’s when she realizes that she’s somehow gained the ability to travel between Earth and this new world at will.
What’s a girl to do when she’s suddenly granted divine cosmic power? Strive for world domination? Nope. Mitsuha decides to use her unique ability to save up for retirement, of course! Mitsuha decides that 80,000 gold coins should be enough to live the life of luxury and sets out to accomplish this task. Mitsuha’s adventures in the other world begin as she comes up with different schemes to make money.
