What is the plot of Tearmoon Empire?
The story centers on Mia, who is the selfish, spoiled princess of the Tearmoon Empire. Her indifference to her Empire’s plight caused her own people to hate her and this animosity leads to her inevitable execution by guillotine! When Mia suddenly wakes up in the past as her twelve-year-old self, all she remembers is the blinding pain as she was executed, her regrets, and her blood splattering onto her diary.
Now that Mia has a second chance at her life as a princess of the Tearmoon Empire she sets out to right the countless wrongs that plague the ailing Empire. From corrupt governance, border problems, and natural calamities to economic strife, Mia has a lot on her plate. Mia decides she’s going to need some allies if she’s going to change history. Aided by her loyal maid, Anne, and brilliant minister, Ludwig, Mia strives relentlessly to restore the Empire.
But don’t get Mia wrong – she’s not doing this out of the goodness of her heart and she loathes hard work. The truth is, she doesn’t like pain and she remembers the horrible feeling of the guillotine blade cutting her head off! Little by little, Mia and her allies’ efforts begin to make a difference in pushing the entire continent toward a new future. Will the mystery of how Mia’s blood-stained diary ended up in the past with her be answered?
