The Devil is a Part-Timer! Season 2 has had fans waiting for years for the release date, but it appears as if the wait may finally be over in 2022. The anime is due to return with a new season at long last, and the entire community is ecstatic.

As a result, the author is developing a special novel The Devil is a Part-Timer! sequel called Hataraku Maou-sama – Okawari!!, and the audience has already shown a strong desire for it.

Hataraku Maou-sama – Okawari!! novel release date in July 2022

The news comes from Japan, where Satoshi Wagahara announced that a sequel novel to The Devil is a Part-Timer will be released this summer. When July arrives, the series will return to Maou with Hataraku Maou-sama – Okawari, a new light novel book. The work will be drawn by 029 and will take place in 2020, following the happenings of Wagahara’s final novel.

Fans are unsure just what sequel will involve at this point, but they do have some huge requests. Indeed, it appears that readers are still fixated on the conclusion as well as its love triangle. If you’ve read the light novels, you’ll know that after coming to Earth, Maou was torn between his feelings for Emi and Chiho.

Fans were open about their affection for Emi, and many predicted that the two stars would end up together. The light novels ended with Maou and Chiho getting close. Emi remained silent about her thoughts after her friend confessed.

The Devil is a Part-Timer left the door open for Maou to expand his harem, but the last-minute switch with Chiho disappointed many readers.
