A story about 12 bishonen “pretty boy” idols striving for fame

The VAZZROCK anime depicts two idol groups VAZZY and ROCKDOWN that belong to Tsukipro (Tsukino Performing Arts Production Agency). Takashi Tsukino, the president of Tsukipro, gathered 12 men together, who all have different artistic backgrounds and ages, but end up inspiring each other to reach for greater heights of skill and stardom.

VAZZROCK will follow a similar format to TSUKIUTA The Animation where the opening will alternate between the two idol groups and the ending song will be a solo performed by the character that the episode was most focused on.

The TV anime will depict the daily lives of the 12 idols and show their enthusiastic hard work and preparations for an event coming up in three months called VAZZROCK LIVE FLAWLESS.

The anime’s episodes will be split into pairs with one story told across two episodes. The thirteenth episode will be a stand-alone one, however.

Episode list:

  • Joyous – Episides 1 & 2 (Takaaki Mamiya/Ouka Kira)
  • Effulgent – Episodes 3 & 4 (Shou Onoda/Haruto Kujikawa)
  • Wonder – Episodes 5 & 6 (Issa Kiduku/Futaba Kiduki)
  • Enchant – Episides 7 & 8 (Reiji Amaha/Ayumu Tachibana)
  • Lucida – Episodes 9 & 10 (Naosuke Oyama/Yuma Shirase)
  • Rival – Episodes 11 & 12 (Gaku Oguro/Ruku Nadumi)
  • Y?? – Episode 13

These two-episode stories will center on two idols as seen above, with each episode having one character as its main focus. The episode duos have a nickname and when the first letter from each nickname is taken the list spells the word JEWELRY. In episodes 9 and 10 the Tsukihana Kagura theme will be featured for the first time.
