Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun (Mairimashita! Iruma-kun)’s manga readers were left with an evil cliffhanger in Chapter 260! During Chapter 260, Atori and Ipos engaged in an intense battle. For a moment it looked like Ipos would catch Atori, but as it turns out Atori was only playing and easily escaped from Orias and Ipos.
Atori made his escape and headed towards Iruma’s group. At the end of the chapter, we see Atori reaching out his eight hands toward Iruma from behind about to kidnap him. Fans were left worrying about whether or not Atori would succeed in kidnapping Iruma or if someone would rescue him and who that might be.
Welcome to Demon School Iruma-kun Chapter 261 was released on July 23, 2022, in Japan, but the RAWS and English translations of the manga chapter have not been made available for fans, who are eager to find out what happens to Iruma.
What happened in Welcome to Demon School Iruma-kun Chapter 260?
Ipos’s bloodline magic called “Round-up” was unveiled at the beginning of the chapter. Using this ability he is able to pull people towards him and either get them out of trouble or attack them. Orias’s bloodline magic was revealed to be called “Stars Aligned” and had the ability to increase his luck.
Despite the teachers’ cool bloodline abilities, Atori was able to escape them both. It was a difficult battle, but Atori appeared to enjoy the fight. The fact that he was smiling half the time shows that he might be more powerful than most of the teachers at Babyls and doesn’t appear to be too concerned by their skills.
Finally, Azz and Iruma were reunited, but their happiness was short-lived. With six minutes left in the challenge they thought their reunion would ensure their victory, but then we’re left with the image of Atori’s eight hands reaching out for Iruma from behind.
What happens in Welcome to Demon School Iruma-kun Chapter 261?
From leaked images online we can piece a lot of Welcome to Demon School Iruma-kun Chapter 261’s story together. Atori planned to abduct Iruma to bring him to Baal. Border Control is already on the way, however, and all the teachers are now aware that Atori is an enemy. Atori’s spider demon form possesses extreme speed that appears to be able to outrun anyone.
Welcome to Demon School Iruma-kun Chapter 261 opens with Kalego in his cute, fluffy familiar form using his energy to block Atori’s arms from snatching Iruma. Iruma, Azz and Jazz are all seen screaming.
After that, Kalego engages in battle against Atori in a fierce confrontation.
At this point, someone creates a protective barrier around Iruma. It’s unclear if the barrier is made out of ice or maybe the teeth from Kaligo’s dog-like familiar. However, Atori manages to break through the barrier and grabs Iruma. That’s when Azz freaks out and yells out, “Iruma-sama!”
Iruma tries to use the Gluttonous Feeder Ring to protect himself, but Atori uses his webbing to bind Iruma’s hands.
Atori proceeds to wrap Iruma up like a spider would its prey.
Predictably, this makes Azz go berserk and flames erupt all around him.
However, before Azz can unleash his fiery attack, someone beats him to it. Shiida (the latest female addition to the teachers, and a member of the Six Fingers) delivers a fierce side kick Atori’s way and sends him flying away from Iruma!
I guess we’ll have to wait until Welcome to Demon School Iruma-kun Chapter 262 to see if Atori is defeated or not, but I think it’s safe to say Iruma has a lot of demons who care about him, and they aren’t going to go down without a fight! Also, since Kalego has been summoned by Iruma that means he must fight to protect his “Master” even if it costs him his life, according to the rules that govern familiars.
