AOF2022 in a nutshell

If you’re new to the event, suffice it to say that AOF2022 is the third Aniplex Online Fest. Originally planned as a live program — titled Aniplex Fest — back in 2020, the event had to adjust to the COVID-19 onset. Rather than canceling the Fest, the organizers decided to host it virtually.

It proved an immediate success, inspiring a string of similar events in the following years, leading up to Aniplex Online Fest 2022 — the third event in a row.

AOF2020 and AOF2021 took place in July of each respective year. This is the first AOF to take place in September and is planned to be more grandiose than its predecessors.

Not without a good reason! AOF’s popularity has soared in these three years. For comparison, AOF2020 attracted more than 800,000 international viewers. AOF2021 was even more successful — it managed to attract more than 850,000 anime fans from all around the world.

AOF2022 is expected to attract an even larger audience, which is reflected in the impressive line-up and supple hints of important announcements about certain upcoming anime titles.

Gear up! There are less than 6 hours left until the event starts!
