Jump Festa 2023 had a lot of fun ways to interact with fans during the Spy x Family stage. The Japanese voice actors for Loid, Yor, Anya, and Bond were present, and we had four major announcements for Spy x Family in 2023!
We’re getting Spy x Family Season 2 in 2023, a 2023 Spy x Family movie, a musical, and a collaboration between Spy x Family and Universal Studios Japan. Sadly, we don’t know when we can watch the new season and movie, but the actors in the Spy x Family musical look just like the characters!
When will they sleep?
With the last episode of season 1 less than a week away, you’d think the voice actors would know there’s going to be another season and a movie. But they were just as surprised and delighted as the fans!
Tatsuya Endo created a special drawing for the movie with an original plot! It looks like the Forgers are enjoying a plane ride, but is this a hint for the story or a red herring?
And which is coming first? How many episodes will season 2 have, and will it be broken into two cours like the first?
WIT STUDIOS and CLOVERWORKS have done a fantastic job bringing Spy x Family to life. But will they have time to work on both projects if they’re selected to keep working with Spy x Family?
There wasn’t any news concerning the manga, but it’s safe to say Spy x Family isn’t ending anytime soon.
Musical Spy x Family
The musical play will premiere on March 8, 2023, at Tokyo’s Imperial Theatre. It will be an adaptation, but how far the play will go hasn’t been determined.
A nationwide tour will be held at KOBELCO Grand Hall at Hyogo Performing Arts Center in Nishinomiya and Hakata-za Theatre in Fukuoka. Most of the cast has already been revealed.
Win Morisaki and Hiroki Suzuki will play Loid. Fuka Yuzuki and Mirei Sasaki play Yor. Risa Masuda, Aoi Ikemuda, Miharu Izawa, and Miharu Fukuchi will play Anya.
Kurumu Okamiya and Tsubasa Takizawa will play Yuri. Kento Kinouchi is Franky. Manato Asaka is Sylvia.
Soma Suzuki is Mr. Henderson, and Nonoka Yamaguchi is Fiona! Sadly, there’s no listing for Bond, so the musical could be covering up till the end of the first cour.
