The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim is an upcoming anime film based on the work of J. R. R. Tolkien. Set to be released in spring 2024, the movie will follow the story of Helm Hammerhand — a king of Rohan who constructed Helm’s Deep — who lived ca. 250 years before the events depicted in the Lord of the Rings (late 3rd age of Middle Earth).
