The Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest OVA release date is confirmed for September 25, 2022. The OVA will be bundled with volume 13 of the light novel series and has a new trailer and key visual to celebrate.
The title of the Arifureta Season 2 OVA is The Illusionary Adventure and the Miraculous Encounter. Unfortunately, it’s not clear if fans outside of Japan will get to experience the OVA, although it’s possible it will eventually be streaming on Crunchyroll similar to how they handled the release of the unaired episode, Arifureta Season 2 Episode 13.

Ryo Shirakome began Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest started as a web novel, and Takayaki began illustrating the light novel series in 2015. The series gained a manga adaptation, a comedy spin-off manga, and a manga adaptation of the prequel novel in 2016.
High-Schooler Hajime Nagumo is bullied due to his relationship with Kaori. But things get worse as Hajime and his class are transported to a fantasy world.
Fortunately, everyone gains an ability, but Hajime appears to gain an ordinary skill used by smiths and artisans. Unfortunately, when the class enters their first dungeon raid, Hajime is betrayed and fights monsters to survive.
Season one shows that Hajime’s growth and relationships with his party members begin. Finally, season two gives us what we’ve been waiting for as Hajime gets his revenge!

Two drama CDs were bundled with the seventh, eighth, and tenth volumes of the light novel series. The voice cast was the same as the anime. The light novel adaptation was the 27th best-seller in the first half of 2017.
