The BIRDIE WING: Golf Girl’s Story Season 2 release date has been delayed due to ‘various circumstances,’ as announced via the anime series’ official website and Twitter.
The BIRDIE WING Season 2 release date was originally confirmed for a January 2023 release window but is now being re-scheduled to April 2023, the Spring 2023 anime season.
Nevertheless, the first episode of BIRDIE WING S 2 will receive an advanced screening at TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku on December 25, 2023. The last two episodes of BIRDIE WING S 1 will also be screened during the TOHO event and accompanied by a talk show featuring some of the BIRDIE WING staff, notably director Takayuki Inagaki, producer Akihiro Sekiyama, and two main cast members Akari Kitou (Eve) and Asami Seto (Aoi).
Further announcements will be communicated promptly, the BIRDIE WING production committee has promised.

Takayuki Inagaki is directing the anime sequel at Bandai Namco Pictures. BANDAI NAMCO Studios are also in charge of original character design.

The video distribution service GYAO distributed all 13 episodes of the BIRDIE WING: Golf Girl’ Story Season 1 from June 29 to July 6, 2023, in an attempt to hype the upcoming anime sequel.
To commemorate the release of the 13th episode of S 1, one person was selected to receive the episode script with autographs by Akari Kitou and Asami Seto (Eve and Aoi, respectively).
What is BIRDIE WING: Golf Girls’ Story about?
As the title suggests, BIRDIE WING: Golf Girls’ Story is all about golf. It is an original anime television series produced by Bandai Namco Pictures.
The plot focuses on two girls (Eve and Aoi) who come from a fictional European country (Nafres). Eve is a gifted golf player whereas Aoi is an elite golfer. When the two meet, they find themselves influenced by one another and so the story progresses.
