Seiyuu Kenyu Horiuchi, the voice behind Re: ZERO -Starting Life in Another World’s Wilhelm van Astrea, is joining the cast of Golden Kamuy Season 4. Horiuchi will voice Warrant Officer Kikuta, a member of the 7th Division of the Imperial Japanese Army (pictured above).
Kikuta was badly injured in the Battle of Mukden* in the Russo-Japanese War and spent a long time recuperating. Before transferring to the 7th Division, Kikuta was a sergeant in the 1st Division, charged with training cadets at the military academy. He carries a Nagant M1895 Revolver, which he captured from a Russian officer during the Russo-Japanese War.
*The Battle of Mukden was the last major land battle of the Russo-Japanese War fought from February 20 to March 10, 1905, near the city of Mukden in Manchuria.
Golden Kamuy Season 4: What we know so far
The Golden Kamuy Season 4 release date has been confirmed for October 2022, as previously announced on the magazine front cover of Weekly Young Jump Issue 18, 2022.
The first season was broadcast from April to June 2018, S2 — from October to December 2018, and S3 — from October to December 2020.

About the Golden Kamuy manga series
Golden Kamuy (ゴールデンカムイ) is a manga series by Satoru Noda that began in 2014 and ended on July 19, 2022. The individual chapters have been collected into 31 tankōbon volumes, with the final volume having been released on July 19, 2022, in Japan.
For the entirety of its run, Golden Kamuy was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine. The series has been licensed for an English-language release by Viz Media since 2016.
Golden Kamuy won the 9th Manga Taishō award (2016), the 22nd Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize (2018), and the Grand Prize in the comic book category of the 51st Japan Cartoonists Association Awards (2022).
VIZ Media is publishing the series in English. As of May 2022, the English manga was up to Volume 26, with Volume 27 scheduled to be released on September 20, 2022.
