The anime was first announced back in January 2022, and in July 2022, its main cast and staff were revealed.

Toshiyuki Kubooka (Wandering Witch: The Journey of Elaina) is directing the anime at studio C2C. Kenta Ihara is in charge of the series composition and script. Yoko Tanabe is designing the characters. Tomotaka Ohsumi is composing the music.

Handyman Saitou in Another World, also known in Japan as Benriya Saitou-san, Isekai ni Iku, is an upcoming anime based on the fantasy manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Kazutomo Ichitomo.
The manga series is serialized online on Kadokawa Shoten’s ComicWalker website. Its chapters have been compiled into seven tankobon volumes to date.
The story of Benriya Saitou-san, Isekai ni Iku centers around Saitou, an ordinary handyman who gets reincarnated into another world where his handyman skills and experience are very helpful. He starts to really understand what it means to be needed.
