Idolish 7 Third Beat! Part 2 release date in Fall 2022 confirmed by Episode 14 trailer PV

A trailer PV for the second cour of Idolish 7 Third Beat! (stylized as IDOLISH7 Third BEAT!) was released, revealing that the anime is set to premiere in October 2022.

Idolish 7 Third Beat! Part 2 was announced soon after the end of the first cour in September 2021. The first cour aired from July to September 2021 for 13 episodes.

Prescreening event

Prior to the broadcast of Idolish Seven Third BEAT! Second Cour from October 2022, an advance screening of the first three episodes (episodes 14 to 16) of the second season will be held at TOHO Cinemas Roppongi, Tokyo on September 17, 2022. All seats are reserved for 4,500 yen (tax included).

After the screening, Wataru Hatano (Gaku Yaotome), Soma Saito (Tenn Kujo), and Takuya Sato (Ryunosuke Tsunashi) will take the stage to talk about the show!

The performance will also be streamed live to movie theaters nationwide in Japan, as well as to various distribution platforms in Japan for a fee. For more information on the event, check out this link.

Makoto Bessho (Space Battleship Yamato 2199: Odyssey of the Celestial Ark) is directing the new season at TROYCA. Ayumi Sekine is in charge of the series scripts. Kasumi Fukagawa is adapting the original character designs by Arina Tanemura. Masami Inomata is the Chief Animation Director. Tatsuya Katou (Shoujo☆Kageki Revue Starlight Movie) is compoing the music.

Idolish 7 anime series is based on the rhythm game of the same name developed and published by Bandai Namco Online with music collaboration by Lantis. The game was first released in Japan on August 20, 2015.

The franchise has received various manga and novel adaptations. An anime adaptation of the series by Troyca aired from January to May 2018. And the second season aired from April to December 2020. You can watch the anime on Crunchyroll.
