Aniplex of America has announced on its Twitter account that Kaguya-sama: Love Is War -The First Kiss That Never Ends- anime movie is coming to select theaters in the US in February 2023, in the Winter 2023 anime season.
After the hour-long final episode of Kaguya-sama: Love is War – Ultra Romantic, the official Kaguya-sama: Love is War Twitter account tweeted, “Kaguya wants to tell you, a new animation will be produced.”
In October 2022, a teaser trailer was released announcing that the movie will release in Japanese theatres on December 17, 2022, the Fall 2022 anime season, prior to the TV broadcast.
Now a new teaser trailer for the movie has been released, revealing and previewing its opening theme song. The OP theme song of Kaguya-sama: Love Is War -The First Kiss That Never Ends is — “Love is Show” by Masayuki Suzuki feat. Reni Takagi.
Suzuki has performed the opening theme songs for all the Kaguya-sama: Love Is War seasons.

Aka Akasaka retires
The original creator of Kaguya-sama: Love is War — Aka Akasaka, announced his retirement earlier this month.
After the release of the final chapter of the series, Aka Akasaka announced on his Twitter account that he would be retiring as a manga artist, but would continue to work as a writer for new projects.
More about the Kaguya-sama series
Kaguya-sama: Love Is War is a rom-com manga series written and illustrated by Aka Akasaka. The manga was first serialized in Shueisha’s Miracle Jump magazine but was later transferred to Weekly Young Jump. Viz Media has licensed the manga for English publication in North America.
The chapters of the manga have been compiled into 27 tankobon volumes to date. The manga series ended this month with Chapter 281 in the Weekly Young Jump Issue 49, 2022 on November 2, 2022.
Volume 28, which will contain Chapter 281, will release on December 19, 2022.
The first season of the TV anime adaptation aired from January to March 2019, the second season from April to June 2021, and the third from April to June 2022. And the story of the Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: First Kiss wa Owaranai movie takes place after the end of the anime’s third season.
