KonSuba fans are excited by an upcoming announcement on the KADOKAWA anime YouTube channel set for 4:00 AM Central Mountain Time on May 28, 2022.
Could this be the longed-for KonoSuba Season 3?!
The time frame makes sense given that most anime premiere around a year after being announced, and there’s plenty of content that can be animated. KonoSuba’s popularity is still growing strong, and there’s no better time to dive into this wonderful world.
What do we know about the new KonoSuba anime announcement?
Jun Fukushima, who voices Kazuma, Sora Amamiya as Aqua, Rie Takahashi as Megumin, and Ai Kayano as Darkness, will participate in the live stream. A New Information Unveiling Guest Special is the main event and quests?
Details are still under wraps, but the voice actors must clear challenges before fans get new information. However, the official Twitter promises to release more information in the future.
Gamers will be pleased to hear that information about KonoSuba’s new smartphone game is said to be revealed in the broadcast.
What is KonoSuba?
KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! It started as a web novel written by Natsume Akatsuki. It has six volumes and ran from December 20, 2012, to October 21, 2013.
The official KonoSuba light novel adaptation is illustrated by Kurone Mishima and is complete with 17 books.
There are four spin-offs light novel series, but KonoSuba: An Explosion on this Wonderful World! And KonoSuba: An Explosion on this Wonderful World! Bonus Story are the only ones with a manga adaptation.
KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! is about a teenage shut-in named Kazuma Sato who dies and meets a goddess called Aqua. She offers to reincarnate him since he died prematurely, and Kazuma chooses Aqua to help him in his new life.
Unfortunately for him, Aqua isn’t very bright, but she can’t return to the afterlife until the Devil King is defeated. So the two form a party and recruit Megumin and Darkness to help them.
But this doesn’t work well either, and Kazuma tries to live an easy life. But, unfortunately, the Devil King’s Generals don’t care.
KonoSuba Season 3 predictions
Since KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! Legend of Crimson is a canon movie that takes place right after season 2.
Fans wonder if we’ll get a retelling in the hoped-for Konosuba Season 3. Or a flashback, since the anime has reached volume 6 of the novels.
