During Otakon 2022, HIDIVE revealed that the My Isekai Life English dub release date is in August 2022!

There’s no word on who the new voice actors are or which exact date in August 2022 the My Isekai Life dub will begin streaming, but the anime is too good to pass up!

If you like Overlord and One Punch Man, this is for you!

Slimes everywhere!

In most RPGs and specific game-inspired series, slimes are grind-bait. However, they can come in different colors, sizes, and occasionally gear to make them slightly more potent.

But My Isekai Life takes the humble slimes and makes them a force to be reckoned with! The 6th episode arrived on August 1, 2022, and the manga is moving at a snail’s pace compared to Japan, but we’ll get volume 3 on October 11 and volume 4 on December 13, 2022.

Indeed, My Isekai Life doesn’t break the mold, especially in the first episode. It’s like Saitama from One Punch Man and Ainz from Overlord fused into Yuji, and slimes surround us.

Yuji’s story has done a great job of giving us information when needed, keeping the comedy fresh, and making the battles entertaining. Episodes 5 and 6 are my favorites and prove that Yuji is more than another OP power fantasy character.

He’s an OP power fantasy character who enjoys good food, takes care of his companions, and has his priorities straight. To protect the village that has good food!

What’s going to happen in My Isekai Life Episode 6?

Without giving away details, the anime has shown us how Yuji met the slimes and Dryad—leaving Proud Wolf the only one who still needs a flashback. The preview at the end of episode 6 suggests that Proud Wolf has to step up, but he’s not a fan of fighting.

We’ve seen him go after some enemies and carry the slimes around, but Yuji doesn’t use Proud Wolf for combat. He’s more like a mount that will sometimes bite if he knows he can win or can’t run away.

I love how fitting the OP and ED are for My Isekai Life. Furthermore, the English subtitles for Mujikaku no Tensai by Non Stop Rabbit is uplifting and authentic to Yuji’s personality.

While Gohan da yo! Dadadadan!! By Hikaru Tohno captures the true spirit of the slimes. They love yummy food, and they love Yuji.

Hopefully, we’ll hear about the light novels being translated soon.
