A new trailer for Mashle was released, revealing the main voice cast for the anime.
The anime was first announced back in July 2022 at the Anime Expo 2022. It was also revealed that the Mashle anime release date is in 2023. At the Aniplex Online Fest 2022 event, it was revealed that Chiaki Kobayashi (Askeladd in Vinland Saga) would voice the protagonist Mash Burnedead.
The new trailer introduces the main cast of the anime, revealing four other main voice actors, including:
- Kaito Ishikawa (Sakuta Azusagawa in Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai) as Lance Crown, a powerful magician who ranked first in the transfer exam
- Takuya Eguchi (Loid Forger in Spy x Family) as Dot Barrett, a noisy guy who has a strong hatred for handsome men
- Reiji Kawashima (Fushi in To Your Eternity) as Finn Ames, Mash’s roommate and first friend,
- Reina Ueda (Kanao Tsuyuri in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba) as Lemon Irvine, a diffident girl who has a crush on Mash ever since he saved her life during the entrance exam

Tomoya Tanaka (Engage Kiss) is directing Mashle at Studio A-1 Pictures. Yousuke Kuroda (Boku no Hero Academia) is in charge of the series compositionn. Hisashi Toujima is designing the characters. Masaru Yokoyama is composing the music.

Mashle or Mashle: Magic and Muscles is an upcoming anime based on the manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Hajime Komoto.
The manga has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since January 2020. Shueisha has compiled its chapters into thirteen tankobon volumes to date, with Volume 14 scheduled to release on December 2, 2022.
