Who is Rody Soul?
Rody Soul made his debut in My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission, but the movie did a fantastic job telling us about him. Therefore, this part of the article will only center around Rody Soul and his quirk Pino.
I recommend watching the movie, but I won’t spoil the major plot points. Rody is 16-17 years old, has two younger siblings, and is usually very carefree.
He mainly works as a bartender but will pick up work to care for his younger siblings—even the illegal kind. Rody doesn’t hate Heroes, but he doesn’t hold any Hero in high regard due to living in the Shanty Town of Otheon, where few hero agencies operate due to a low chance of making money and becoming famous.
Rody has a very unique and adorable quirk. The ability is called Soul and takes the form of a small pink bird with blue, purple, and yellow markings. Although Pino isn’t very strong, she can perform tasks for Rody and follow his commands.
Cristina Vee, the English voice actor for Young Rody, also voices Pino! Pino is linked to Rody’s soul, and her actions reveal his feelings, making it impossible for Rody to lie.
