The upcoming anime adaptation of The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten anime has been confirmed to be coming out in 2023, as per the anime’s official Twitter account announcement
That The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten anime series is in the works was originally announced in January 2022, with the first teaser PV following shortly. Since then, not much has been revealed —the actual release date included — except for a shy Tanabata-exclusive visual.

About The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten light novels
The anime is an adaptation of the eponymous light novel series (お隣の天使様にいつの間にか駄目人間にされていた件, Otonari no Tenshi-sama ni Itsu no Ma ni ka Dame Ningen ni Sareteita Ken) written by Saekisan and illustrated by Hanekoto. The series was originally published via the Shōsetsuka ni Narō (小説家になろう, “Let’s Become a Novelist”) user-generated website, but has since been licensed by SB Creative.
SB Creative has so far released five volumes of the series under its GA Bunko label. The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten light novels are licensed by Yen Press in North America.

Following the success of the light novel series, a manga adaptation has emerged. The Otonari no Tenshi-sama manga is illustrated by Wan Shibata with composition provided by Suzu Yūki (Eromanga-sensei: Yamada Elf Daisensei no Koisuru Junshin Gohan). It has been serialized in Manga UP! (Square Enix’s online manga magazine) since January 2022.

The anime adaptation was first reported in January 2022. In early March 2022, AnimeJapan 2022’s TOHO animation booth showcased a teaser PV of the project.
On May 13, 2022, a second teaser visual for the anime was revealed via the official Twitter channel, with the four main characters having been introduced thereby.
Hence, the main cast of The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten is already known. It includes the following members:

- Manaka Iwami — Mahiru Shiina
- Taku Yashiro — Itsuki Akasawa

Taito Ban is known for voicing Given’s Shizusumi Yagi; Manaka Iwami won the 13th Seiyuu Awards and is best known to the fandom as the voice behind Fruits Basket ’s (2019) Tohru Honda; Taku Yashiro won the 12th Seiyuu Rookie Actor Award and is known for voicing Salaryman’s Club’s Azuma Tachibana; Haruka Shiraishi is the voice of From Up On Poppy Hill’s (2011) Sora Matsuzaki.
