On April 16, 2022, SPY x FAMILY gets the English dub treatment. Alex Organ will be Loid Forger/Twilight who played as Aizawa from My Hero Academia.
Natilie Van Sistine will voice Yor the Thorn Princess, also known as Reona from Full Drive: This Ultimate Next-Gen Full Drive RPG Is Even Sh****er Than Real Life. Megan Shipman plays Anya, a very (lucky?) Telepathic child. Megan has also played Akebi in Akebi’s Sailor Uniform.
What do you do when you have a dad who’s the best spy in the world, a mom who’s an elite assassin, and a telepathic daughter living under the same roof? Add a random dash of chaos.
Joining the shenanigans is Anthony Bowling as Franky, he is also Alciel in The Devil Is A Part-Timer! Season 2. But even the best of the best need a great support team.

Here’s what we know of the plot. Everyone has a part of themselves that they can’t show to anyone.
The nations of the world are in a fierce war of information happening behind closed doors. Ostainia and Westalis are locked in a cold war that’s been going on for decades.
The Westalis Intelligence Services’ Eastern-Focused Division or WISE for short, sends their best spy “Twilight” on a mission to investigate Donovan Desmund, the chairman of Ostainia’s National Unity Party, who is threatening peace between the two nations.
This is Operation Strix. Twilight has one week to put together a family to infiltrate the school that Desmund’s son goes to so they can attend its social gatherings.
Twilight adopts the identity of Loid Forger, a psychiatrist, and adopts Anya. What he doesn’t realize is that the little girl can read minds, and his wife Yor is an assassin.
It’s up to this new family to bring about world peace, while also concealing their secrets from each other.

What else do we know about the anime
The series will have 25 episodes, with a 12-episode cour premiering on TV Tokyo and other networks in Japan. A second cour of 13 episodes, SPY x FAMILY Part 2, will air late in 2022.
For those who don’t know, a cour is the measure of an anime series. The average cour is 10 to 14 episodes that run over a three-month period. Seasons with 24 to 25 episodes are longer, making cours all the more crucial in order to do the series justice.
It gives the studio time to catch up to the manga and gives studios an opportunity to produce anime-exclusive content. Like extra story arcs or additional episodes to expand run time.
Japanese will be able to buy the first DVD/Blu-ray volume on July 20, 2022. Both will contain the first four episodes and has a runtime of 90 minutes.
The normal versions contain credit less ED/PV. ED means the ending song and PV is for promotional video. For those who love limited editions, you get the ED/PV, a 3-sided case by character designer Kazuaki Shimada, A2 Poster with liner notes, the front side of the poster is illustrated while the back is cast interviews and other information.
Limited editions also come with a digipack, a special disc of a 30-minute recital of the SPY x FAMILY stage reading. No word yet on when the English dub will be available on DVD/Blu-ray.
