A Do It Yourself!! trailer PV was released, revealing that the anime is set to premiere on October 5, 2022. The anime will air on TV Tokyo on October 5, AT-X and BS11 on October 6, and NST Niigata General Television on October 9, 2022.
Crunchyroll premiered the anime’s first episode on August 6, 2022, at the Crunchyroll Expo. It will also simulcast the anime. The anime’s first two episodes will be pre-screened in Japan on September 18 at Shinjuku Wald 9.
The trailer PV reveals and previews the Do It Yourself!! OP theme song, “Dokidoki Idea wo Yoroshiku! (Exciting ideas, people please!)” by the six main cast members.
The trailer also reveals that Yumi Kakazu, known for her role as Shizuka-chan in Doraemon, will play Haruko Hoketsu, the advisor for the DIY Club, and popular Japanese DIY YouTuber Suwaro will join the staff for DIY design, supervision, and guidance.

IMAGO and Avex Pictures have been credited for the original work. Kazuhiro Yoneda (Akatsuki no Yona) is directing the series at Studio Pine Jam (Gleipnir). Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Hajime no Ippo: New Challenger) is in charge of the series scripts. Yuusuke Matsuo is designing the characters. Ryouhei Sataka is composing the music.

Do It Yourself!! is an original anime series that follows six high school girls who become friends while working on Do It Yourself projects in the DIY club. The girls struggle and sometimes fail, but they don’t give up till the end. The story depicts the lives of these girls as they take their first step toward the future.
The anime was first announced back in March 2021 when an official website was opened for the show, revealing the main staff and a teaser visual (pictured). In July 2022, the website revealed the main cast and additional staff.
