The organizers of the exhibition Togashi Yoshihiro Exhibition -PUZZLE- (冨樫義博展 -PUZZLE-), which will commemorate the 35th anniversary of the HUNTER x HUNTER / YuYu Hakusho mangaka Yoshihiro Togashi’s legacy, have revealed additional details about the exhibits and goods.

-PUZZLE- will open to the public on October 28, 2022, in Tokyo and will also tour Ōsaka and Fukuoka in the future (the exact dates haven’t been revealed yet). The Tokyo -PUZZLE- exhibition will close on January 9, 2023.

Togashi Yoshihiro Exhibition -PUZZLE- exhibits at a glance

Togashi Yoshihiro Exhibition -PUZZLE- will display more than 350 original drawings, color illustrations, and manuscripts and will feature three separate areas: The Yu Yu Hakusho area, The Hunter x Hunter area, and the Level E area, each named after its namesake manga title.

The Yu Yu Hakusho Area

The Yu Yu Hakusho area will feature a number of original manga manuscripts and recognizable scenes from the legendary manga series that is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.

A specially arranged action scene featuring the four main series characters — Yusuke, Kuwabara, Hiei, and Kurama — will be the highlight of the area.

The HUNTER x HUNTER Area

The HUNTER x HUNTER area will feature exhibits focusing on Gon’s growth but will also include his friends. Memorable scenes from the enormously popular HUNTER x HUNTER manga that recently got re-vamped will be on display. The entire area will be decorated with Mizumi-style glass coupled with special effects for a complete experience.

The Level E Area

The Level E area will display an episode-by-episode story detailing the interaction between aliens and earthlings, focusing on the manga’s main character, Prince Baka Ki El Dogra. The area will feature complex multimedia effects that will give off a feel of a distorted time-space continuum.
