Idolish 7 Third Beat! Part 2 release date in Fall 2022 confirmed

A commercial for Idolish 7 Third Beat! Part 2 (stylized as IDOLISH7 Third BEAT! Part 2) was released, revealing that the anime is set to premiere on October 2, 2022. The show will air on TOKYO MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, and BS 11 on October 2, and TV Aichi, TV Hokkaido, and TVQ Kyushu on October 4. Japanese streaming service, ABEMA will simulcast the anime.

Idolish 7 Third Beat! Part 2 was announced soon after the end of the first cour in September 2021. And a trailer PV for Part 2 was released in July 2022. The first cour aired from July to September 2021 for 13 episodes.

It was also revealed that the OP theme song, “WONDER LiGHT,” sung by IDOLiSH7 will be released on November 2, 2022. And the ED theme song will be released on November 9, 2022.

Prescreening event

Prior to the broadcast of Idolish Seven Third BEAT! Second Cour from October 2022, an advance screening of the first three episodes (episodes 14 to 16) of the second season will be held at TOHO Cinemas Roppongi, Tokyo on September 17, 2022. All seats are reserved for 4,500 yen (tax included).

After the screening, Wataru Hatano (Gaku Yaotome), Soma Saito (Tenn Kujo), and Takuya Sato (Ryunosuke Tsunashi) will take the stage to talk about the show!

The performance will also be streamed live to movie theaters nationwide in Japan, as well as to various distribution platforms in Japan for a fee. For more information on the event, check out this link on the official website.

Idolish 7 anime series is based on the rhythm game of the same name developed and published by Bandai Namco Online with music collaboration by Lantis. The game was first released in Japan on August 20, 2015.
