Could Season 3 be the final season?

Love Live! Superstar!! Is the first Love Live! series to get a third season. School Idol Project, Sunshine!!, and Nijigasaki High School Idol Club have two seasons and a movie.

But high schools in Japan have three years, and then the students graduate and apply for college or try to find a job. So the original five girls in Liella!, Kanon, Sumire, Ren, Keke, and Chisato, will leave Yuigaoka Private Girl’s High School if they graduate.

Does this mean that Liella! will disband, or will the remaining members keep the name? What will happen to our original members and the new third-year?

And will the academy continue to accept students now that Liella! exists? But most importantly, when can we hear the new songs?

It’s tough becoming an idol

Even though you know that Kanon and the rest of the group will fulfill their dreams one way or another, the anime does an excellent job of showing us some hurdles in their way. For example, the most common trope is that Kanon freezes up when she’s about to sing in front of people.

But idols must have stamina and the mental strength to push through even when they’re about to pass out. Things like being cute, and having a decent singing voice, or dance moves will only get you so far.

Many idols use the ability to play an instrument or write music to improve their performance. But the girls also have to balance their school life and worry about their health.

Some have jobs or other responsibilities, while others may not intend to pursue the idol lifestyle once they graduate. And some won’t be able to, no matter how much they want to continue.

It’s a good show that balances the rosy tint being an idol gives off while showing part of the reality it takes to be one. Are you excited about season 3?
