Lycoris Recoil has released a new character trailer for Takina Inoue.

Recently the team behind the anime has been putting out a steady stream of promotions leading up to the debut of the series.

The official trailer dropped back in April, but these character releases seem to be here to give fans a little more insight into what they can expect from the characters and the series as a whole. So far, they’ve released one other character trailer for Chisato Nishikigi as well.

Lycoris Recoil is a new original series being produced by A1 pictures. It is slated for the Summer anime season with an anticipated July 2022 release.

Who is Takina Inoue?

While there isn’t volumes worth of manga content to reference, the brief twenty-second trailer gives us a further look at Takina Inoue’s character.

From the trailer, she seems a little more serious than her more bubbly co-worker, Chisato Nishikigi, but quickly seems to relax as well.

According to her character description on the official website, Takina is “a girl with a cool pay-for-performance personality”. She sounds like she’s going to be an interesting character to follow.

Will there be more character trailers?

Considering this is the second character trailer to come out since the release of the original trailer, it is safe to assume fans can expect at least a few more trailers.

On the official Lycoris Recoil website so far five main characters have been announced and given short biographies. Besides Chisato Nishikigi and Takina Inoue, the characters Kurumi, Mika, and Mizuki Nakahara have yet to receive character trailers.

What will Lycoris Recoil be about?

Without any source material to go off of, fans may be wondering what the series is going to be about.

Translation of the synopsis from the official website reads:

“Riko Rico is a Japanese-style cafe in downtown Tokyo. The cafe takes orders for not only delicious coffee and sweets! From deliveries to the nearest destination, to pick-ups and drop-offs along the lonely night streets, to zombie exterminations, to giant monsters! From zombie extermination to giant monsters! We’re here to help you with anything! We’ll solve any kind of ‘problem’ you may have!”
