Made In Abyss Season 2 trailer reveals OP, ED music songs and new cast

While many celebrate the traditions of Golden Week in 2022, fans can also celebrate the release of a new Made In Abyss Season 2 trailer, as well!   

The much anticipated second season of the series, Made In Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun, has already previously revealed one trailer and several visuals to keep viewers on the edge of their seats. The Made In Abyss Season 2 release date is also already confirmed for Summer 2022.

This second trailer was released on both the official website and official Twitter.

It gave fans a preview of new characters from the series. It also gave them a chance to hear some of the new voices and the new opening theme also! 

The series will be produced by Kinema Citrus. This is the same studio that produced the first season.

Who will be in the Made In Abyss cast?

Along with the new clips, the Made In Abyss Season 2 trailer announced that the series is introducing several new characters and voice actors to the mix as well. 

Hiroki Gotō will play Majikaja. Fans will remember him as Futoshi in Darling in the Franxx!!

Playing Gaburoon will be Ryota Takeuchi. You may recognize him as the voice of Wakatoshi Ushijima in the popular Haikyuu!! franchise. 

Kana Ichinose will voice Maaa. They are known for playing characters like Tuesday in Carol and Tuesday or Ichigo in Darling in the Franxx!! 

Also joining the cast is Kimiko Saitō as Muugi. She played Rem in the Death Note anime.

Also returning to reprise their roles are the three main cast members. Miyu Tomita will voice Riko, Mariya Ise will voice Reg, and Shiori Izawa will voice Nanachi.

Several other voices have already been announced as well, including: Misaki Kuno (My Dress-Up Darling) as Faputa. Yuka Terasaki (Horimiya) as Vueko. Hiroaki Hirata (One Piece) as Wazukyan. Mitsuki Saiga (Attack on Titan) as Belaf. 

What new songs were announced in the trailer?

Both the new opening and closing songs were revealed in the Made in the Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun trailer. 

The new opening theme song will be “Katachi” as performed by Riko Azuna.

The new ending theme song will be “Endless Embrace” by MYTH&ROID.

When and where can I watch Made In Abyss Season 2?

For those of you wondering where you can watch season two of the series, look no further. 

Sentai Filmworks, who licensed the previous season and films, has also licensed Made In Abyss Season 2, as well. A July 2022 release has already been confirmed for the series.
