One Piece Bragmen Gym has Pirate Functional Training programs

The first ever One Piece gym — “ONE PIECE FITNESS BragMen,” where you can train in the world of One Piece, opened in Shibuya, Tokyo, on January 13, 2023.

For those who don’t know, the name of the gym, “Bragmen,” comes from a book of the same name that Nami refers to in Little Garden.

There are three types of training programs in the gym:

  1. Deck Program (Studio)
  2. Pirate Functional Training
  3. One-on-One (Sashi) Training

I’ve already written about the Deck Program in another article that you can check out here. In this article, I’ll focus on the Pirate Functional Training programs.

Pirate Functional Training is a group training program offered at the Functional Park. The objective of this training is to improve the performance of “functional” movements such as walking, running, standing, and lifting.

Here are the training programs that will allow you to fight against the World Government:

Pirate HIIT (Beginner-Advanced)

HIIT is an abbreviation for high-intensity interval training and refers to aerobic training in which high-intensity exercises are repeated multiple times with short intervals in between.

Touch the Log Pose

Become a navigator who pushes through the Grand Line with the help of a Log Pose. This training program improves both physical and mental abilities by using buttons known as PODs.

The PODs glow in 8 colors, and one improves by pressing them in the right sequence or touching the PODs of a specific color.

Four Emperors Training

It is a highly recommended training program named after the Four Emperors — Whitebeard, Shanks, Kaido, and Big Mom. Currently, only the Shanks program is available, but it is expected to expand to the other Yonko in the future.

In the Shanks program, you wear the Shanks weight vest, which bears the emblem of the Red-Haired Pirates, and take on different types of training. The weight vest can hold weights ranging from 5kg to 20kg and allows you to feel the weight throughout your body, helping you build a stronger physique.

Aren’t these training programs exciting as a One Piece fan? I can’t wait for One Piece gyms to open all over the world so international weebs can finally work out.
