The Pop Team Epic Season 2 English dub will premiere on October 15, 2022.

The Pop Team Epic Season 2 release date in Japan was on October 1, 2022, the Fall 2022 anime season. The first episode aired at 25:30 on TOKYO MX, BS11, and AT-X, with broadcasts on BS Nittele, HTB, and MBS promptly following suit.

It is the first anime ever to have been broadcast on terrestrial TV and via TikTok LIVE simultaneously.

The series is also available via Amazon Prime Video, with the latest episode being added every Saturday at 25:30 JST.

About Pop Team Epic Season 2

The Pop Team Epic Season 2 anime TV show was initially announced on December 25, 2021.

On March 26, 2022, the time frame was confirmed during the Anime Japan 2022 event.

On July 16, two new key visuals and a trailer for the Poputepipikku S2 were released.

Composer Gin (Aho Girl, Don’t Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro Season 2) created the music.

The Pop Team Epic Season 2 OP theme song is “Endless Love.” The ED theme song is “Friend Peace,” which has two versions (male and female).

For the first season, the OP theme song was “Pop Team Epic” by Sumire Uesaka. The ED theme songs included variations of “Poppy Pappy Day” by Popuko (Yui Makino) and Pipimi (Yui Watanabe).

The Pop Team Epic Season 1 was animated by Studio Kamikaze Douga (the Batman Ninja anime movie), produced by Kotaro Sudo, and directed by Jun Aoki (Gal & Dino) and Aoi Umeki, with Aoki handling a variety of other roles, including character design, key animation, storyboarding, photography (director), series composition, and script.

The Poputepipikku Season 1 had 14 episodes in total — 12 regular ones and 2 specials. The first 12 episodes were broadcast in Winter 2018, with Episodes 13 and 14 premiering on January 7 and March 25, 2018, respectively.

The first season was streaming on Netflix, Crunchyroll, FUNimation, and Toonami Adult Swim.
