On September 13, 2022, Pokemon on Twitter revealed an exciting collaboration with Fossil! You can choose between three limited edition watches or some leather goods like handbags, clutches, and bifold wallets.
However, don’t wait too long because the watches are limited-edition and once they’re gone, there’s no telling when you’ll get another chance to get one.
Time to catch ’em all with style!
With so many new Pokemons coming out, it’s hard to track them all, but the latest collaboration between Pokemon and Fossil pays tribute to some of the originals, namely, Charmander, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Gengar, and Pikachu.
The collaboration has three limited-edition watches to choose from and some lovely leather accessories to show off your Pokemon love. However, the watches will make most fans pause at the $299.99 price tag.
The watches come with the following:
- Limited-edition box that’s individually numbered and perfect for displaying the watch or gifting it to someone else
- Two extra interchangeable wristbands made of silicone or rPET
- Rotating bezel and gradient dial of the face design
- Glow-in-the-dark lume-filled indices and three hands
- Exhibition case back with the face graphic
- Single-push foldover clasp closure (steel band), hook and look closure (rPET band), and buckle closure (silicone band)
The watch face is 42mm in diameter and the strap width is 22mm. They are water-resistant up to 10 ATM and are made in Fossil’s signature style.
Why does Gengar get its own watch?
Because Gengar is awesome and is the only one in this line-up that hasn’t been a starter Pokemon, but don’t worry because Fossil has made other watches in this collaboration. They are featuring the starters on their own watch at $149.99.
The main differences between the limited editions are that they are not waterproof, have no extra bands, and the bands feature the evolutions. In addition, the strap is made of silicone and comes in a sleek metal box.
You still get a sweet watch, though, and many items to choose from! The standard watch has a quartz face and, sadly, the cheapest items are the leather Bronson and Steven card cases at $49.99.
If you love collecting things, this collection might be a challenge due to the prices. But if you can only pick one, I’d go with the Gengar watch.
