Two separate main trailers for Yomoji Otono’s Boku ga Aishita Subete no Kimi e and Kimi o Aishita Hitori no Boku e anime movies have been released.

The movies were first announced in September 2021, and a joint trailer was released for both films in May 2022, revealing that the premiere date for both of them was October 7, 2022.

The main trailer PVs focus on the relationship of the main characters and reveal and preview the theme songs of the irrespective movies.

The theme song for Boku ga Aishita Subete no Kimi e is “Kumo wo Kou” by singer-songwriter Keina Suda. While the theme song for Kimi e and Kimi o Aishita Hitori no Boku e is “Shion” by the three-member Japanese rock band Saucy Dog.

The main cast

Hio Miyazawa is starring in both movies as Koyomi Takasaki. The role is Miyazawa’s voice acting debut. Ai Hashimoto (Nana Hiragi in Blood-C: The Last Dark) voices the heroine Kazune Takigawa in Boku ga Aishita Subete no Kimi e. Aju Makita (Kanna Hayama in Kamiarizuki no Kodomo) voices the heroine Shiori Satou in Kimi o Aishita Hitori no Boku e.

More about the movies

Both the movies are based on science fiction novels of the same name written by Yomiji Otono. Boku ga Aishita Subete no Kimi e (To Every You I’ve Loved Before) and Kimi o Aishita Hitori no Boku e (To The Solitary Me That Loved You) were both published by Hayakawa Publishing on June 23, 2016.

Jun Matsumoto (Night Raid 1931 and Infini–T Force Movie) is directing Boku ga Aishita Subete no Kimi e at BAKKEN RECORD. Kenichi Kasai (Bakuman and Nodame Cantabile) is directing Kimi o Aishita Hitori no Boku e at TMS Entertainment.

Riko Sakaguchi (The Tale of the Princess Kaguya, Fortuna’s Eye) is writing the scripts, and Shimano is designing the characters for both films.
